The “Il Podere Saulino” vinyard is situated in the heart of Gavi D.O.C.G. region, in a pleasant
location, and spread over an area of 12 hectares, almost totally covered in vines.
The person responsible in the enologist, Giancarlo Ariano, who aided by his family, has
been personally director for more than thirty years, the various fasis of wine making, from
the vine harvest, to the choice of grapes, up to the processing and of the wine.
The fact that every single product of the “Il Saulino” vinyard has to undergo severe quality
and authenticity checks before being put on the market is the first reason of its success.
But, behind every single drop of this wine, it is important to think that there is a generous
land, an enological culture of ancient traditions, a continuous competition of wines DOC
and DOCG within this region, the richest in the world, but above all, the great passion of
the Ariano family.
